Run a Show with SnapSale

Start a show, keep its deals and expenses together, and return to the recap after the event.

Last reviewed

The Shows tab brings your current and past events together. Tap a show to see its deals, costs, and results while you keep selling through Calculator.

Start a show

  1. Open Shows and tap Start a show. If this is your first show, the introductory screen explains how it works.
  2. Set Start date and End date, then enter the Show Name. Location, Table fee, and Starting cash are optional.
  3. If you already made deals today, tap Include earlier deals from today, select the ones that belong, and tap Done reviewing.
  4. Tap Start show. Return to Calculator to sell; new completed deals on this device are linked to the running show.

Starting cash is the cash you and anyone selling with you bring to the event. It is not revenue. You can enter it later when editing the show or comparing your cash count.

Include earlier or missing deals

  1. Open the show from Shows and tap its three-dot menu.
  2. Choose Add existing deals. Find the day you need and select the completed deals that belong to this event.
  3. Tap Add deals (the button shows how many you selected).

The picker lists completed deals saved on this device that are not already in a show. Show totals cover deals linked to that show. A matching event name or date alone does not guarantee a deal is included. Changing the show’s dates does not add or remove deals.

Sell from more than one device

Use the same vending account on each device and check that the running show appears there before selling. Follow any prompt to join or keep the show running. Other devices’ deals appear as they sync; a poor connection can delay totals.

Devices running an older app without Shows cannot automatically link their deals to a show. Once those deals are available, use Add existing deals to include them. If a total looks incomplete, check which deals are included before using it as the final result.

Edit details or add costs

Use the show’s three-dot menu > Edit show to update its name, location, dates, or starting cash, then tap Save changes. Completed receipts keep their original event name.

In the show’s Show costs section, tap Add a cost. Choose a Cost type, enter the Amount and an optional Note, then tap Save cost. Tap an existing cost to edit or remove it.

Finish the show

  1. Open the show’s three-dot menu and choose End show.
  2. Confirm End show. Your saved deals remain available in the show’s recap.

The scheduled end date does not close the show automatically. The Calculator reminder lets you choose Keep show running or End show. End the show when you are finished so later deals are not added to it.

For help reading your recap, see Understand Sales and Show Totals.

Save a cash count

Count cash is optional. Enter Cash counted and turn off Compare with recorded activity to save just your count. For a comparison, enter Starting cash too; use 0 if you brought none. Blank Show costs paid in cash means zero. Include only cash-paid show expenses, not purchases already recorded as deals.

A comparison depends on recorded cash payment methods and available deals from your other devices. Saving a count does not confirm that every payment or deal is included.
